A family transformed:

A family from Boumerdes in Algeria was touched by the simple phrase "God is love" mentioned in a program. These simple words deeply moved the wife. This viewer's heart was opened as the TV presenter shared this affirmation of God's love. She desired further searching and discovering.

Her discovery of God being love seemed too good and easy to be true, yet she was convinced that Jesus loved her so much and couldn't resist but accept this gift of love into her life.

Along with her husband who has also been transformed by God's love and their 3 children they attend church services.

Your program is so good; it is wonderful that you can talk about the Christian faith. In this way people can choose their religion. Although I am not a Christian I feel attracted and closer to your Christian faith than Islam.

32 year from Algeria writes:

I would like to inform you that I don't know of any other Christian in this region and the only way for me to be nurtured is through your television program. I would like to ask if you could help me find other Christians in my region so we can meet together?

Interestingly, since I heard about Jesus through your TV for the first time this Jesus has become Lord of my life. I understood and accepted Jesus Son of God to be my Savior which was most ridiculous for a Muslim that I was. Today it has become the plain truth I confess with conviction.

I am Algerian, Arabic, converted for a multitude of years. Your TV channel has allowed many of my compatriots to come to the living Water to drink and live.

Jesus is our only support my friends, be consolidated and strengthened in the name of Jesus. Amen

F, a 30-year-old Algerian contacted CNA after watching the programming to learn more about Christ.

After several months, F made a 7 hour trip to visit our correspondent to ask for prayer for his sickness (Hepatitis B). He ended up accepting Christ into his life and left with a Bible and some Christian literature.

I was touched by what you have said that was reported in the gospel and the things that Jesus said. Despite the fact that I am a Muslim I felt something strange within me challenging me to seek more about Christianity and seek the true way. It is not because I am born of a Muslim father and living in a Muslim context that I should be a Muslim; but I am required to know Christianity then I’ll find my way. Therefore I am inquiring for help from you by sending me books.

An Algerian viewer says:

I am full of joy because after hearing about Christ, I set off to church. I borrowed a book from the church library. After reading the book, I realized from the bottom of my heart that Jesus Christ is really God and He is above everything and every being. I have already read books by Nietche and other philosophical books but this Christ is indescribable and incomparable.

I have known Christians who live not too far away from where I live, I have criticised them and made fools of them and mocked them and always told them that atheists were better than Christians. It happened many times when I slandered them and outraged their Christ. But now something new has happened to me and I can not stop weeping and regretting my bad attitude toward those Christians and Christ himself. I want to inform you that Christ is not only my saviour but my Lord because he performed a wonderful work in my life and he transformed me.

When the Christians who knew me from my bad attitudes heard of my conversion, they were overjoyed and encouraged me to make the commitment of baptism, but I couldn't get the strength to make that decision.

In a dream God took me to deep waters in the sea and pushed me down, in and out 3 times. Through this dream I had no problems making the decision to be baptized. (It was) as if I was empty and had no strength to move forward to the baptism, as if I was stuck and could not move.

Now that I am about to make this baptism real in my life, I have great joy to belong to the Christ who loved and washed away my sins. There is not one day which passes by that I do not see miracles. I see God do wonders.

Street conversations:

The conversations in the street are not unnoticed as people talk about this new channel that uses their North African dialects. One family called to say that they enjoy the freedom they have now to watch all together as a family.

First of all many thanks for the wonderful truth you proclaim, I have come to believe that what you say is the truth and I have no doubts anymore that Jesus is the only one that offers salvation.

For this reason I am writing to you to ask you if you could send me a Bible because I want to improve and grow in the teaching of Christ.

I suffered from Asthma, and I prayed at the same time as I was watching your program. I was following the instructions of how to pray from the show: I proclaimed God's glory. Suddenly I felt as if I was burned by a huge electric discharge. My heart started to beat quickly until I couldn't breathe. I barely managed to make my way outside my home to have fresh air, and all of a sudden I felt as if some one was holding me and shook me like shaking a rug to shake off the dust. I literally saw a number of small creatures falling off from my body; so strange yet real. Never again will I be the same. Now I put my trust in Christ and I thank him for what he did. Please continue to pray for me.
