CNA

CNA or Channel North Africa, is an association that started in the year 2000 by the efforts of several partners who wished to broadcast the Gospel into North Africa using audiovisual materials. The vision of CNA is to see the peoples of North Africa reconciled with God, regenerated and transformed by the Gospel in the communities in which they live.

English in Libya

English has now become the second of ficial language of Libya. Previously, until now, anything not written or published in Arabic was condemned. From now on, for example, street signs will be written in both English and Arabic. In this country that was completely closed to outside influence a new door is opening for those who teach English.

 

CNA Contacts in 2008

Last year, in 2008, CNA received a total of 10,359 contact averaging about 865 contacts per month.

Of these contacts 99% came from North Africa

  • 90% from Algeria
  • 6% from Tunisia
  • nearly 2.5% from Morocco
  • 75% by telephone
  • 23.5% by text messages (SMS)
  • remaining 1.5% by mail or email
 

Concert in the East of France

CNA was in Franche-Comté in the east of France February 7 to record the concert of Nassera, a Christian singer originally from North Africa. In front of our cameras she also shared her testimony. Both the concert and testimony will be included in a future broadcast of CNA as part of a series for women.
